Just five days old …. – Venice newborn photographer

Baby girl #4 has arrived for this family! We had her session at just five days old, one of my youngest newborns ever! I love getting them early:)– the best newborn images happen in the first two weeks of life, when baby is still all curled up and sleepy :).

Her bracelet is a family heirloom :).

Her big sisters were just wonderful with her!

I have a special connection with this family … my husband is a K9 deputy, and so is this little one’s daddy :). This is retired K9 Koa, who was as sweet and gentle as could be with the new baby!

Wild boys :D – Port Charlotte family photographer

I feel like I say this about so many clients, but I’ve been photographing this family for years! Since the oldest was a baby and the others weren’t even around :D. Now there are three crazy boys, and all kinds of hilarity at our sessions. At this session, there were strong man competitions, yoga in the grass, and basketball, mixed in with creating great memories! We did the session at their home on the water, and used their beautiful yard and porches to get some great shots!

I think this is my favorite of the boys:)<3

It’s easy to get caught up in family pictures and forget where it all began. Many couples haven’t had pictures done since their wedding! I always try to talk mom and dad into a few shots of just them together. It’s funny how often they can’t look at each other without cracking up ๐Ÿ˜€

Ok wait. Maybe this is my favorite of the three boys.

A Tampa session – Tampa / Longboat Key family photographer

There’s something to be said for a nice family picture where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. I love that! I lean towards more casual posing, especially with young kids …. and this family’s holiday door –ย  AND THE STEPS OF THEIR HOUSE, OMG!, I’M IN LOVE – were a perfect backdrop.

But after we get that shot, I gotta be honest, I love stuff like THIS just as much. Maybe more. These images are the ones I think your family will cherish forever, that the kids will have fond memories of when they look back as adults. The fun, the laughter, the silliness, that’s what family should be about, and I love that so many of my clients enjoy the ‘outtakes’ as much as the ‘regular’ pictures.

So we all know what Austin wants for Christmas, right? ๐Ÿ˜€

The kids chose this spot in their backyard, by a bougainvillea, for individual pictures.ย  Austin, who is developing quite an eye for composition and commented how nicely the flowers went with their clothing, has a future as my assistant!
